Katherine Scheele Photography | Historic Irvington

First things first today! Brrr, it is just unbearable outside, especially for girls like me who catch a chill quickly + can't shake it for the rest of the day... :/ I guess Indiana is well known for these swing in temps we have experienced lately, teens one week and 60+ degrees the next.

Well, this session had a little bit of both-warmer temps (I say this lightly as it was around 30 degrees out) and snow! It was definitely nice to be able to sneak inside and take breaks from the cold. We did these in historic Irvington; a very quaint and character filled area here in Indpls.

We had tried for snow initially, but quickly realized planning for both snow and 'warmer' temperatures really weren't in the forecast so we just ran with what mother nature decided to provide last week....though shooting in temps below 30 is never advisable with little ones like the pair below. These two sweet babies did great however + I can't wait to finish up the final gallery for their parents!

Thank you again John + Katie for this opportunity and braving the elements with me. ;-)
